Throwback to last weekend when a few #BlackrockAC members hit the road for the Aran Islands to Inis Meain parkrun. A unique and very wholesome experience by all accounts. Wishing everyone a great weekend!

Not a lot in the way of races this weekend but plenty of fun runs and even some training for the upcoming #RunTheLine and #ValenciaMarathon. Beautiful conditions yesterday too! #BlackrockAC

What a phenomenal race Kieran Little had at the Sallins 10km at the weekend. Bolstered by the support from his family, he clocked a breathtaking time of 33:15 !

On Saturday, 11th October, Andrew tackled the 20k SkyTrail route, climbing over Slieve Donard and Slieve Commedagh, with an incredible 1,300m (4,300ft) of elevation gain. 🏃‍♂️💪 An amazing achievement! Well done Andrew

Johnny Sheehan was at Oxford #HalfMarathon last weekend. Couldn't find his time but looks like he had a good one anyway, well done Johnny! #BlackrockAC

At the #GalwayBayMarathon Gerry Flaherty clocked 3:52:28, marking his milestone 60th marathon. Hilary McMahon had a super race, with notable amazing pacing without a watch as she had trained in the lead-up finishing in 4:27:37. #BlackrockAC

Four runners took on the #ChicagoMarathon Huge congratulations to Dorit McCann on a superb 3:37:18, a 10-minute PB! Sean O’Mahony (3:53:46), James Richardson (4:16:47) and Camilla Richardson (5:01:11) all running strong in the #WindyCity #BlackrockAC

Well done to Billy Byrne who took top spot in the M65 category at the #MunichMarathon, finishing in 3:26:27, an incredible result. Mark Kilcoyne was also flying in Munich, dipping under 1:20 in the half (1:19:57). #BlackrockAC

Please note that with the evenings getting darker, Tuesday tempo session will now start in Rockfield at 6pm sharp. Hope to see many of you out later! #BlackrockAC

Fantastic running on Sunday by our #blackrockAC members who ran the Longwood 3/4 in Meath.

Well done to Eoin McGuirk who was 4th M50 and first BAC man home and to Susie McNulty who was first BAC lady home 2:52:53

Congratulations Marie-Therese McCoy #BlackrockAC who ran two parkruns (fri & sat) and a half marathon (sun) in Germany over the weekend. It’s certainly a great way to see the sights!

A big shoutout to #BlackrockAC Bryan Shields who took on the Monaghan Phoenix Marathon around the hills of Rossmore Park last weekend. Another great achievement Byan! 👏👏

Huge well done to #BlackrockAC Mick Quirke and Gerry Flaherty who both took part in the BHAA keypoint 5k, with Mick finishing in a strong 6th position 👏

Last weekend also some incredible performances at the the Wicklow EcoTrail. Our #BlackrockAC Miguel Flores and Ger O’Toole conquered the 80km trail in 9:59 and 10:13 respectively, while Eoghan Hughes smashed the 46km in 7:05. Serious running guys!! 💪🏼💪🏼

Well done to all #BlackrockAC members who took part in the Rathfarnham 5km and Dublin Championship, with some fast times on the day. Kieran Little was the first BAC man home in 15:29, while Eva Kelly, one of our juniors, was the first female home in 21:08. Well done all!!🏅🏅

Another busy and brilliant week at #BlackrockAC! From the faster-paced Tuesday tempo and Wednesday track sessions, to the midweek Fit4Life runs and the various weekend long runs, there’s always great friends to run with🏃🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️

Super running by everyone at the Berlin Marathon on Sunday 21 Sept. With temperatures reaching 26 degrees it proved to be a tough day for running. Despite the heat, our club members delivered some outstanding performances and impressive times.
