The Pikachu pattern has had more reds filled in, along with a little pinkish white and pale peach in the top right corner of the image.

The other nice thing about stamped and not having to count is that when I get bored of backfilling in a color, I can jump to another one and not lose my place.

But also to keep me from jumping around too much, I braided the rest of floss from the kit (learning!) and that’s also very satisfying ☺️

More of the Pikachu cross-stitch pattern has been completed - the head is mostly yellow but only filled up to just under the eyes like a mask

Sometimes I can see it as some weird Gigantamax Pikachu

But mostly it just looks like something is wearing Pikachu’s skin as a cap right now 😬

…so of course I decided to pause on fleshing out the yellow half-stitches to start adding some red to it 😅

I also get the appeal of stamped now, it's so EASY to mindlessly stitch when you don't have to count

I started a stamped cross-stitch last night partly to continue putting off cleaning/decluttering

but I would be lying to not acknowledge part of my motivation to finish this ASAP (despite having two other WIPs) is to cover up this demonic soul
