Paladin just wasn't for me, and I stated that at the start, but they wanted the whole "knight in shining armor" bit, and I just wanted to play so I relented.

And I'm having a lot more fun as a regular Hexblade Warlock, and re-writing his lore was a trip and a half.

But, long story short, we split, and I decided to take Kieran and do what I wanted to do all along - a simple Hexblade, really flirty, likes wearing dark clothes, and yeah, became guilty of the whole blorb of Theseus thing.

Am I proud of it? No.
But thanks to him, I've healed. ❤️

I'm gonna be honest (and this might be a multi-comment reply, so sorry for that), I'm guilty of this. When I first brought Kieran here, he was a Paladin-Hexblade multi-class. *I* hated it, but the person I was with loved the thought of me playing a Paladin.

#tavQOTD With my Tav, he's a friend. Things got off to a rocky start (being bitten without permission will do that), but we're okay now.

Out of character, I felt seen. When he said "no one will ever control me ever again." I felt like I had just met a kindred spirit. I broke down crying.
