Well I'm glad I started the process of becoming a mechanic before the election since it looks like my main job will go bankrupt once medicaid gets cut for half of our patients

I have now reached the "will fix car for food" level of mechanical expertise

I fixed 7 engine codes and have been met with 3 brand new engine codes that are a horrible combination to have

Like I had to have our lawyer, CEO, myself, and the patient, all send letters threatening escalation to the attorney general and state insurance commissioner for a response to appeals that were 6 months past the 90 day processing deadline

UHC would pretend they didn't receive an appeal/claim that you already got a confirmation for through their online portal, would hide claim details on their online portal, and defer any inquiries to a case manager that would ghost you after 2 weeks

Tbh UHC was definitely the most evil of all of the insurances I worked with at my previous job
