I get that buses and trains are going to be late or even cancelled. It sucks but I get it. But it seems like if @septaphilly.bsky.social can put AI readers on trolleys for parking tickets it could at least guesstimate that the bus at the depot is not actually leaving in 2 minutes

And it’s not the first time *this month* it’s happened

Ended up standing on the corner for like 40 minutes with my kids to go less than a mile. If I knew the bus was going to be late/never come I would have started walking right away

Curious if this is a Philly/SEPTA specific problem: if you commute from the start of a bus or train route, it’s impossible to know if a bus or train is going to be late. It’s just a constant “2 minutes away” indicator

I’ve been deep diving into old texts and emails and stuff thinking about my pal and have discovered that I have hosted an absurd number of parties where the only food I served was hot dogs

Dan was one of two of my first ever Work Friends* and then he became my Regular Life Friend and I’m devastated but also so lucky to know him.
