Alright girly wigs, panel #8 is finished, she's the last rainbow one. So all I have to do is finish #7 which is all one color and is not fun bc there's no changing yarn. I can start sewing the panels together now while working on 7. I can't wait till it's complete!

My first attempt at embroidery! Design is just something I freehanded so not historical or anything. I also used DMC cotton thread and not proper embroidery thread because that's just what I had. This is already fun! Will probably try more later

I finally tried linocutting!! It was harder to stick to my original digital design than I thought, but I’m happy!

Bueno, aquí sigo con la tarea vieja-nueva.
La experiencia con los hilos neón son una cosa 😅 de abren mucho las puntas y de lo suaves que son cuesta que se ajuste la tensión del punto si llevas más de 1 hebra.

Tengo que andar con mil ojos así que va a llevar tiempo 🥴

A miniature lamp. The body is clay with some curls of color running down. The lampshade is a green 3D print.

I made this. All parts. I threw And glazed the clay. I designed and 3D printed the lampshade. I designed, 3D printed and wired the LED filament "bulb."

A dragon! The horns and wings and spikes have glittery tinsel in the yarn that's not showing up in pics.

What I learned: as with sewing, I can stitch like nobody's business, but lining things up and measuring and fiddly bits are a struggle.
