It’s… certainly its own thing. There’s even an endgame state where you have to put your character in the freezer!

I was having so much trouble moving used games I exclaimed, β€œI couldn’t sell a game if it had a pornstar stapled to it!”

This is the resulting visual, with the alluring Seka stapled to Wiz-War.

Just a year ago we introduced designer Lester Walker to these pages with plans for one of his Living Machines-a convertible couch-bed-table which he called Turniture. When we wanted a multipurpose unit for outdoor use, we asked Walker to design and build Turniture II-and he came up with this delightful piece that serves all the patio functions shown. It's easily made from MDO (medium-density overlay) ply wood, assembled with two-by-two cleats and 30 wingnut/bolt/washer sets. It knocks down for flat winter storage or transport in a station wagon. Close ends of crawl-through tunnel (center photo, below) and it becomes a roofed playpen for a toddler.

The most insidious thing is that LLMs produce a completely blind manipulation that exists only inside our skullsβ€”there is no mind at the core of it, it's just "spicy autocomplete"β€”it has neither created nor offered the meaning we take from it. It's pure, unadulterated self-delusion.

A digital illustration of Skeletor as depicted in the 80s He-Man cartoon. For those unfamiliar he is a a blue man with a fantasy bodybuilder physique. He wears a cross-body harness with some little bones at the center and a matching purple hood that frames hood face which is somehow just a yellow skull. Here he is seen yelling up to the sky and shaking his little blue fists at the heavens. Cutting him off at mid-abs is some gleaming 3D lettering in the style of the Masters of the Universe logo that reads β€˜Maybe it will happen today’.
