Conan was the perfect choice to keep this balance. Loves movies so when he makes jokes they come from a good place.

Love the Oscars is back to celebrating movies and everyone involved in making them. How it should be. Movies matter and people do truly unbelievable work to make them happen.

Really disliked the whole “no one has seen these or cares” vibe of the last few years.

Conan should host the Oscars every year until he dies. This is great.

The Philadelphia Eagles are America’s team tonight.

One of the best developments of the last few years is how omnipresent Willem Dafoe has become.

Turns out the sky was in fact not falling and all the panic about the Grizzlies, Ja, Edey, etc may have been a little premature after one loss.

Who could have seen that coming?

Jaren Jackson Jr is one of the few players in the NBA who look at Wemby with zero fear. He attacks him constantly.

JJJ has truly turned into one of the best two-way players in the NBA.

Tonight the Grizzlies dipped into the GNG era to pull out this win. All heart.

The All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr showed up when it mattered most. BC was amazing down the stretch. Kennard and Bane stepped up.

What a win. Needed it. Proved something.

More than deserved. Has been the best player on the Memphis Grizzlies this season. Has turned into a force offensively and continues to be one of the best defenders in the NBA.

Sing Sing, Nickel Boys, and The Brutalist all at Malco this weekend after months of waiting

I was told Jaren Jackson Jr wasn’t a clutch basketball player…Foolish.

Big 3 locked in when it mattered most. Wells’ defense was massive. Big time comeback for the Grizzlies. Found a way to get it done. An ugly W is still a W.

Timberwolves have so many issues.

The Twin Peaks pilot is a masterpiece. Quality through the roof. One of the best episodes of television we have ever had.

It’s cliché to say, but they truly do not make them like this anymore.

David Lynch was a genius. His work and legacy will live on forever.

One of the great visionaries of his time.

Truly unique. The world lost something special today. Seems a little less colorful than normal.

RIP to a genius.

I’ve decided to watch Inside Llewyn Davis for the 1st time as a double feature.

I’m sure this won’t change me as a person at all. It’ll be fine.

Didn’t get a chance to see Anora. It’s high priority for me, though.

Have seen Red Rocket. Liked it a lot, but definitely agree it got a little weird.

Tangerine on the list too. Florida Project was incredible.

The Memphis Grizzlies beating the Golden State Warriors by 50 may be the best Christmas present I’ve ever received.

I get to host a sports radio show in Memphis tomorrow. I’m floating.

This Memphis Tigers team finds ways to win. Gritty, ugly win…. But a win. Loved the defensive adjustments by Penny.

Picked up another solid W for the resume and guaranteed at minimum 2 wins in this tough 4-game stretch. I’ll take it.
