Isn't it time to think of moving the United Nations out of the US? Why not move it to Asia - perhaps Singapore?

I wonder what percentage of philosophers who say that liberal democracy is 'the best system there is' or that other systems/philosophies 'don't give a damn about individuals' have actually read any non-Western or non-capitalist philosophies. #actualquotes #batubatosalangitmatamaansanakayo

If I were telling the story to the next generation, I'd tell the story a bit differently: not a story of morality, but a story of what it means to vote in and live in a democracy. I would say that the legitimacy of the EDSA revolution was because of the mass cheating in the 1986 election. 2/
The narrative around Philippine history since 1985 has morphed into a narrative between two 'sides' along a political divide, or even two families. In some people's version of the narrative, the EDSA revolution is a morality play, and its legitimacy lies in it being a triumph of good over evil. 1/
