I'm looking for SFFH books written by trans and non-binary authors featuring a sapphic / wlw / f/f f/x relationship (including QPR) prominently (protag &/or one of the major POV characters)

If you ever want to read a paper for free and can't find it otherwise, email the lead author and politely ask for a copy. You will not be bothering the person. You will in fact make their whole entire day. I have had scientists get so excited I asked they sent me everything they ever published.

I captured the March 3rd, 2026, lunar eclipse. The night was clear until shortly before totality, then clouds rolled in. However, there were brief breaks in the clouds, and I was able to get a few shots. 😄

Isolate and vicious, prairie wyrms rarely reach sizes much larger than the average white-tail deer. They possess an insidious venom, which was used to fell bison on the Great Plains. The culling of American Bison crushed Wyrm populations and drove them north.

Finally had weather nice enough to get all the trays properly lacquered. As soon as they dry properly, I'll get them shipped out! The owlbear, mothman tree and circle unicorn trays are still up for grabs.

This is why even in non-written media, you see people having a difficult time perceiving subtext, context, the idea that the writer is writing for a specific audience with a specific idea in mind, etc.

Because becoming functionally literate is *how* you learn to perceive all that stuff.

People tend to think of functional illiteracy as just being unable to read words aloud or such.

What it *really* means is such as not being able to perceive subtext, context, understand who the audience of something may be, etc.

Media illiteracy is fundamentally part of functional illiteracy.

When someone says „Scientists do not want you to know“ you can dismiss everything from there on. Scientists want you to know. They are desperate that you know. They can’t shut up about what they found out and want you to know.

I saw a treeful of cedar waxwings! I love them, I don't think I've ever seen them here before. I swear I saw a robin flit by too, though it seems too early. Spring??
