โผ๏ธ| Kohei Tanaka clarifies that the upcoming big song he mentioned in response to the "Which Sakura Wars song was hard to compose" question isn't a Sakura Wars song and there was a misunderstanding.
He adds that something will be announced in Spring for the 30th anniversary but it won't be a game!
๐ | Today, February 24th, is the 26th anniversary of the Sakura Wars side game Ogami Ichiro Funtouki!
A tie-in to the 3rd Kayou Show Benitokage where you relive the story from Ogami's pov. It reuses the show's footage as cutscenes and has a lot of bts material as unlockables!
โ| Sakura Wars main artist Hidenori Matsubara reminds people of the franchise's anniversary right after a series of tweets and rts about the Evangelion event and new anime which he's a part of:
"This year is Sakura Wars's 30th anniversary too!!"
The show ended with the SW cast signing "Gekitei Kai" and everyone in the audience standing up and dancing with them, then they were each presented with a bouquet of flowers and gave a short speech in character.

The show had approxemitly 150 garments, from the stuff the SW cast wore to the models, all hand made with eco friendly and sustainable materials and using new and innovative techniques.

The next section had the cast show up in their casuak outfits and sing "Kore ga Revue". Followed by a showcase of different other dresses worn by models led by special guests Rie Tomosaka and Naoto Fujiki. Yumi Katsura, Hiroi and head of Sega at the time showed up and gave speeches

After that they had a showcase of the multicolored gowns section of the collection, which only featured Sakura, Sumire and Kohran walking the runway to the song "Dream / Yume no 1 Pound".

Next was the new Ogami and Kaede duet "Futari ni Kanpai!" (A Toast to the Couple)
They were accompanied by the Hanagumi doing backup vocals. Sakura, Maria and Kanna were in white tuxedos escorting Kohran in a purple dress, Sumire in a white dress, and Iris in a black dress resp
The 2nd act opened with the new Sakura and Maria duet "Ima Totsugu Hi ni" (On this Day of Marriage)
They sang wearing bright pink wedding kimonos, with Sumire and Kohran, in purple wedding kimonos, and Ogami and Iris, in light blue wedding kimonos, acting as background dancers
I forgot to mention, the song Maria and Sakura walked the aฬถiฬถsฬถlฬถeฬถ ฬถ runway to is an instrumental of "Icarus no Hoshi".
And the first act of the show ends here. For the intermission, they did a skit featuring Kanna and Sumire in their casual outfits bantering.
The dress was even referenced in the last episode of the OVA Gouka Kenran.
In fact, this event was the inspiration behind the storyline of the last 2 episodes of Gouka!
The next section was the most important part of the event: the showcase of the main dress of the collection, worn by none other than Sakura with Maria playing the part of the groom in a black tailcoat tuxedo
This was the gown in the poster, the announcement event, the dolls, ect
Next, which wasn't included in the digest, is a tuxedo section of the collection. Ogami walked the runway in this tuxedo alongside other male models.

Next the 2nd section consisting of dresses with a more fitted silhouette
This time only Kohran, Maria, Sumire, and Sakura, in that order, showcased them, walking the runway to the song "Yuuyake no Mukou ni"

The event started with a showcase of the 1st section of the collection consisting of ball gown dresses.
The girls walked the runway one by one wearing different gowns to the instrumental of "Happy Day Happy X'mas" in the order: Sumire, Maria, Kohran, Kanna, Iris, Sakura, Kaede.
