The republican party has been trying to destroy public education since integration.

Orange and its merry band of klansmen are nothing new, we just weren't paying as close attention before orange annointed itself king.

We can't just stick our heads in the ground and hope this time will pass. The poets and philosophers, the artists and educators, the rappers and professors need to be at the forefront of resistance and revolution.

I don't see philosophers and artists engaging in much resistance, and it doesn't seem like we think art has the power to transcend our collective despair and inspire revolution.

The German anti-fascist philosophers, activists, and artists believed art played a major role in supporting the revolution and resistance. They debated aesthetic theory and wrote great texts about art and revolution.

What role do you think art plays in the anti-fascist movement today?
