I hope Carney isn’t looking the other way to see how we can benefit. That’s not how to treat our struggling neighbours.

I do understand. But at what point do we stand up for what is right? At what point do we stand up for Canadian moral principles? If this was happening to us, would we wish the world to stand up for us, or to look the other way as long as they benefited? There is a big world out there beyond the US.

When a homeless American citizen who doesn’t pay taxes goes to the emergency room, who pays for them? The American people? What is the difference between the two people? They are both human beings. But I bet the illegal person is working and would love to become a citizen if it was easier to do so.

That’s the sickening part. We keep being told that it’s detrimental to tax the billionaires, yet it would not change their daily lives, but it could help change the lives of so many.
