My Tenth Worldcon…

So, Seattle 2025. here's a con report starting with an introductory bracket and ending with a closing bracket. We begin with a scheduled pre-con visit by two houseguests, Mark Roth and Ellen Montgomery, who arrived in Bellingham at 5 PM on the Monday before the con, stressed out…

So... they don't have "natural" artistic talent... and they just want to fake being thought of as an artist. Ye gods and little fishes. Find something to do that comes more "naturally", people, and leave the arts to those people who have been BUILDING THEIR TALENT BY WORKING AT IT FOR A LIFETIME...

I need to deal with some other stuff but at the moment I'll just stick to seeing to the accumulated email...

Unsolicited Writing Advice, no. 3214566:
Trying to follow writing trends is usually a waste of time. By the time you can see them, they're over. Instead, just write what you love. Write it as well as you can, and wait. Don't be afraid to be different. One day, maybe, you'll be the trend.

So I just wrote some 500 words or so on the WIP...

Or - I see you're on an interesting panel 1:30 on Friday - perhaps meet up after that...? If that works?
