Eleanor Taylor Bland Crime Fiction Writers of Color Award - Sisters in Crime After contacting the grant recipient, Sisters in Crime will make an official announcement of the winner in the summer of 2024.

The National Sisters in Crime Eleanor Taylor Bland Crime Fiction Writers of Color Award is open for submissions until March 31st!

Our chapter hosts write-ins for members every Thursday at 9AM PT. In January, members wrote 10,784 words! If we keep up that pace all year, we could write the equivalent of two cozy mysteries!

Did you have writing goals for January, and did you meet them?

Join us February 6 at 6PM PST as two PNW private investigators, Cayetana Garcia and Whitney Workman, talk about their practices focusing on criminal defense in the state of Oregon. They’ll discuss what an average day looks like and walk us through a sample case! Guests are welcome!

We are the Columbia River Chapter of Sisters in Crime! Our all-virtual chapter is based in the PNW but any member of Sisters in Crime National is welcome to join us for community, monthly programming, and weekly write-ins.
