Just lying in bed remembering when I used to teach English in Japan right after college.

Look at AOC hearing some news for the first time, taking the information in, and making a coherent, meaningful comment that sounds like it could be part of a damn fine speech.

When Trump was asked about the release of the Epstein files, he called one reporter "piggy" and said another was "being insubordinate."

When Trump saw a video calling on the military to follow the constitution, he called for the death of the Democrats who made the video.

Let's just pause a moment at that first blatantly false claim that rent is too high because of immigrants. 🤨

We know very well why rent is too high. It's the landlords, obviously. Everything's been getting bought up by corporations, and they'll charge exactly what they can get away with.

The only way to for the public to see complete Epstein files is to leak it. Do it. Now. Anything else is complicit.

Trump is such a low-IQ narcissist that he's incapable of taking anyone else's perspective.

He thinks we're all stumbling around in a dementia-ridden fog just like him so we won't remember that he's spent all year BLOCKING the Epstein files.

What a day to be a web developer! This morning, I was blocked by a global Cloudflare outage, and now I'm blocked by a GitHub outage.

It kind of feels like everything is falling apart, like society has been hijacked by a gang of amoral billionaires bent on world domination at any cost.

There's a reason nobody laughed here, and it's that this "joke" makes no sense. It follows the form of a really cliche joke, but the punchline falls flat because there's no tension to resolve from the first statement.
