She came along later '72 or '73-ish I think. Funnily enough, when I was the artist on Robin he was often teamed with a female character called The Spoiler... what with all the leaping from rooftop to rooftop etc, I remember thinking "Hmm, I'm drawing Billy The Cat & Katie stories here" 🤣

Unfortunately, BtC&K were a DC Thompson property not Fleetway/IPC, so Rebellion wouldn't have the rights.

A Billy The Cat And Katie revival is desperately needed... but almost certainly unlikely🤣

It would appear that 'Bruce Dickinson's The Mandrake Project' comic that I worked on alongside Tony Lee & Bruce Dickinson himself has won the Best Collection award in the Tripwire Awards 2025. Pretty cool.

Recommended to me by @marclaming.bsky.social a few years ago this movie has become a staple of my 'run up to Christmas' viewing. So here we go again.

It would have been Boris Karloff's birthday today. I think this was the first I drew him as Frankenstein's monster, back in 2010 , for some kind of charity sketch cards, if remember correctly.

I have argued that this live action Batman is the most accurate version of the comics, given that it was based on those light hearted (mostly) Dick Sprang drawn stories of the 1950's & early 1960's. Also, it has the BEST Batmobile.. hands down.
