The Last Next Annual Detroit Vs. Pacific Film Festival will be held September 22nd, 2025 at Pacific Resident Theatre in Venice, CA., a collaboration between Johnny Clark's Vs. Theatre Company, Dalia Vosylius and Pacific Resident Theatre, and Bjørn Johnson's and Gareth Williams' Detroit Street Films.

Yikes, only halfway there.

Though this one might barely qualify as I actually don't recall a great deal about it but it was the first book of any significance that I read. I do recall how it made me feel and introduced me to the kind of time and geographic travel only attained through reading. It transported me.

I realize Woody's a controversial and polarizing figure but this book was everything to me in the very genesis of my theatrical journey. My college buddy Ross Thomas turned me onto this book, along with "Something Wonderful Right Away". Reading them, I felt like I discovered an 8th continent!
