ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. She’s married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there.

They’ve already sent her to Louisiana.

Noem is unable to answer Sen. Booker (D-NJ) questions about how many U.S. citizens have been detained, saying the number of citizens detained for "obstructing" makes it difficult. "It could be hundreds and hundreds...I can't give you an accurate number."

Sen. Tillis (R-NC) is yelling at Noem about FEMA response in NC, the killings of Pretti & Good in Minneapolis and lack of answers about the immigration operation in Charlotte. "I'm giving you a performance evaluation here. I'm not looking for a response."
