I recently reported on an ICE officer who was publicly reprimanded and β€œrelieved of his duties” after shoving a woman to the ground in an NYC immigration court. Well, he’s back.

DHS did not respond to a request for comment.

In this piece published on July 31, ProPublica documented ~50 incidents of immigration officers shattering car windows to make arrests β€” a tactic experts say was rarely used before Trump took office.

How many more times must this have happened since then?

Transcript: Gregory Bovino says arrestees in downtown Chicago chosen partly based on β€˜how they look’ WBEZ reporter Chip Mitchell spoke with U.S. Border Patrol commander about a deportation blitz downtown and in the upscale River North neighborhood. Here is the transcript and unedited audio interview.

Gregory Bovino, commander-at-large of the U.S. #BorderPatrol, claims a @wbez.org/@chicago.suntimes.com report about his comments Sunday in downtown #Chicago was "grossly inaccurate" and taken out of context. So we've posted the interview's unedited AUDIO and TRANSCRIPT:

DACA has bipartisan support in Congress. Still, Republicans are following Trump's lead President Trump failed to revoke DACA in his first term and his focus on immigration this time has mostly ignored the policy. Still, Republican lawmakers are deferring to the president on the issue.

DACA recipients are being caught up in immigration arrests. In interviews with Republican lawmakers who previously supported pathways to legal status for DACA recipients, nearly every lawmaker was clear: Trump needs to be the one to start talks.

Officers who fatally shot autistic teen won’t be charged, Idaho AG says Victor Perez, 17, was holding a knife when police officers opened fire at him while he was behind chain-link fence. He died days later in the hospital.

Officers in Idaho killed a non-verbal teen, disabled who was holding a knife *and standing behind a fence.*

The officers "didn’t even ask what’s going on,” the boy's aunt said.

Idaho's Republican AG just decided not to indict them.
