2/ Besides privacy and security issues & data no longer partitioned btwn agencies, it could be problematic for people that live paycheck to paycheck if a larger than expected amount was pulled. Unknown if it was legit but saw a post claiming IRS corrected an error & took funds immediately

But this is the administration that allowed unvetted DOGE agents to access and COPY people’s personal data and who has been replacing career gov staff with randos and they now require you to have acct info ON FILE, also with access to deposit OR PULL funds.

Note: this is the same IRS that does not allow you to pay your taxes with a paper check anymore and requires you to give them bank account routing for either payment or refund refund. This needs to be changed immediately! For now I’m going to open up an acct at my credit union just for taxes.

Wow, I just found out from my accountant that you can no longer pay taxes with a paper check and if you have a refund due, they tell you it will be an additional 6 wks unless you give banking info to receive erefund.
Who here is comfortable giving your banking info to the Trump administration?

So we have to wait till she’s actually charged with crimes against humanity I guess…
