We have butted heads on many occasion to where you might think i hate you or im anti union. I’m neither of those things. And agree with the point of if there was a better union id support it right away. Cause workers deserve there right. Just right now asking to support a flawed one is a hard sale.

I just had to actually look at a few pages to understand wtf salting even is. Which only means a worker goes to a Job with the intent to organize a union. Atleast is the simple description i got. Which i say is fine. As long as its a non union or fi core worker doing it

And i would have left sag out of it if they didnt insert themselves into the hoyo strike by telling hoyo to read their documents.

Becuase they cant directly. But actors can. And from what Joe said this strike was in response to the bigger ongoing UNION strike. So it happened to strike while in a way in the Union couldnt. And if a union member got caught breaking the rule on this strike. It would hurt the greater strike.

The second comment is true, it should be enforced and im happy its being enforced more now.
The problem to me is. Its only being enforced in response to the strike. Meaning once this strike is over does that mean the rule will continue to be enforced in the same way?

If this was already done a while before the strike began than it shows the GR1 needed an entire rework

By making the consequences worse? make examples of people so people know hey you arent fucking around anymore and you need to actually listen to the rule? because if making an example or Erika or anyone else who breaks the rules is ok now. It should have been way before this.

Yes to both sides. As it possible its not as threatening as she making it. Or its equally likely it is and theres something your side is missing. And things need to be looked into more.

shows you are able to reign in your members.....which begs the question why hasnt this been more heavily enforced before. Whether or not I or you see it as morally or legally grey irrelevant since it only comes down to how hoyo sees it.

Ok saying its threatening or not is not possible for either of us to say that for certain, Granted.
But You have to understand that, you have a problematic rule, that people have been calling out for a while and no one calls perfect. And only now are we really seeing it enforced/reigned in.

Tho i do have to ask. If it was true people knew that she was union and this was public info. Then why only now is she seemly getting punished for breaking GR1. Wouldnt she have had to be punished all 4 years shes been working? Or is there something im missing here.

From what i’ve seen from screen shots from this recent case there was no direct mention of her being union only talks of her talking with SAG, now if she did bring it up earlier and I was unaware that’s different and i apologize.

All that to say…..why snitch on her??? To get heat off you? Because that’s again showing selective punishment, why no public lambasting to other such rule breakers. To keep consistent no this doesn’t make her breaking GR1 correct still. But just why?!
