We created an initial webpage at EEIDforum.org. We're in beta testing phase, but there is a job board with a few postings, feel free to put up your own EEID related job ads there.

It was fantastic to unplug from the chaos in the world for a few days to focus on the wonderful & impactful science being done in the Ecology & Evolution of Infectious Disease community. Today (Tuesday), I'm presenting a poster on a flexible graph database pipeline for data integration, with a small teaser on a completed subsampling tool for phylogenetics, if you want to chat about that instead!

For the first full day of #EEID2025, you will be looking for Duncan Student Center, which you can find on Google or Apple Maps etc. It is on the west side of the stadium. Enter on the main level and look for elevators to the Dahnke Ballroom on the 7th floor. We’ll start at 8:45, so beat the rush!

We're looking forward to welcoming folks to #EEID2025 at Notre Dame tomorrow! As you're finalizing your packing, it would be a good idea to bring some rain gear based on the latest forecast, including for our Wed morning hike.

Looking forward to #EEID2025! I'll be presenting a poster on some new stuff I'm up to and peacocking to find work in January so if you vibe with graph databases, phylogenetics, or unique subsampling approaches make sure you swing by!
