Can’t believe I had to write this story, but here it is.

Yesterday I rode my bike around Long Beach and people were OUT and every restaurant (even chains) had long-ass lines. Does this coincide with the fact that this is also first week we see much less activity in local ICE raids? People out here just want to live, man.

It’s been revealed to me that BlueSky is actually referring people to read our stories at @lataco.bsky.social! So first off all, thank you for restoring some hope and seeing that people actually still do read! Secondly, time to rekindle the love I once had to post erratic thoughts on here too.

Today's hot yoga was too hot, and for the first time ever, after going at least twice a week for six months, I nearly passed out. Crazy. I still loved it and would do it all over again, even in this higher humidity and heat.

Writing is not dead, and it will never die. It may get harder to find your flow as we doomscroll more (and more), but as soon as you feel it again. It's so damn powerful, and it will remind you that it's not going ANYWHERE and no AI or algorithm will ever defeat a good old-fashioned flow state.
