Hanneman, without a doubt.
I've often interpreted and written him as gay, partly bc I relate to him a lot, and I do think it's a shame he can't marry Male Byleth, but of all the characters in 3H, I would feel safest with him. He knows how one should treat their partner, with love and respect.

Romantic: Seteth. "Courage, my love"
Platonic: Alois, specifically in CF. I love the mundane, peaceful ending of settling down in Remire and marrying a rando for Byleth.

I actually felt inspired last night and started writing the Day 3 piece properly. Enjoy!

30+ Character Weekend This event revolves around the characters in Three Houses who are older than 30, both playable (Manuela, Hanneman, etc) and non-playable (the dads, Judith, etc), and characters who don’t appear on screen but we hear about (Tiana, Claude’s dad, etc). Dates - Friday, October 3 to Sunday, October 5 In the bottom right corner, Erwin Gloucester is peaking out his head.

We are pleased to announce a FE3H weekend event that revolves around the game's older characters!

The tail end of a confrontation with Hubert. “Naturally.” Shamir sighs. “...Take care of yourself, Hubert.” “You as well.” Hubert replies simply. She watches his face tense in concentration, and with a blanket of darkness, he disappears. They both let out a long-held breath. “Don’t look at me like that. He isn’t wrong.” Shamir says, finally letting Catherine’s arm go. “Tch… a ‘wildcard’?” Catherine grumbles, rubbing her wrist. “Practically a compliment coming from him.” Shamir gives her a moment. “Come on. I have to get those dressed. We’re not far.” Shamir’s order forces Catherine’s focus back to the aching of her wounded body. “Yeah, yeah… ugh.”

Shamir helps an injured Catherine out of Fhirdiad, and is confronted by Hubert. A little snippet of the end of their conversation 😌
