Ah, man. I constantly get those scenarios in my head for things I would love to animate, though it's always the voices that, funnily enough, rarely fit in in those scenarios for me.

For hobbyist animation stuff, also realized drawing a storyboard helps miles in visualizing motion and stuff.

I think... as a kid, my experience was learning by drawing what I wanted to draw. Experience and skill only came after, when I slowly wanted to improve my technique. As Kili said, observation also goes a long way. Before you do something right, you need to know where it fails.

Honestly, I think this is why I've enjoyed Helldivers so much. Even Halo would be the most fun to me when played in coop. Xbox Live Multiplayer would be nasty, but even when compared with online games nowadays, most Helldivers 2 players I meet are polite.

I used to read a lot of Namir Deiter and its related webcomics back in the day, it was one of my comfort reads. I kind of miss it. I hope you and Isabel are well.

I wholeheartedly recommend the mod Halo: Combat Revolved. That Elite's story ends up appearing from the start per the book, and it ends per the book. It's also an amazing lore+gameplay mod.

Either way, his story is him dying a more humiliating death than Cpt. Ahab...

As a matter of fact, from what I heard, they are FORCING employees to use AI. The people working there hate it, don't see much use to it, and feel it as a hindrance...

...but executives want to hear Microsoft is not being left behind, and using the thing nobody finds that useful.

Even Laura Fryer, a veteran at Xbox that keeps a level head, is just as pissed by what is happening to the brand right now.

Technically they do, they're Utahraptors, or Deinonychus. They just changed the names for the movie to make them threatening.

That said, I've gained a love for the actual feathery, pretty killing machines that were turkey velociraptors.

My favorite are the Sangheili for the knightly motifs, but I genuinely find Unggoy fascinating due to them being fascinated by our culture. Sometimes I think that, had it not been for the Covenant, they would've been hyped to do cultural exchange.

Likewise, Steve Downes and Jen Taylor are core parts of Halo. They deserve proper protection and compensation for all they've given us, just like programmers and videogame makers.

Yeah... this is the reason I'm scared of watching One Piece. I only followed DragonBall mythos because I was a little kid when I saw the very first episode, and they had a lot of episodes to go daily.

Honestly? No piece of art is going to be exactly the way you imagine it, and even veteran artists suffer from it. Writing is just as dignified, and hell, stories are the centerpiece of art. Besides, in this era, flawed human art is even more beautiful.

We can only hope this gamergate drivel dies out someday. The people in that bandwagon are a network of bigots and grifters that are only stripping art of meaning. This sort of shit only results in people making less games and art.

There's people that want only an end product, and those that know how important the human element is. An artist requires a unified expression. We need artists because they have a pulse on the times. Artificial Imagery are stochastic parrots.

Just... trying over and over. Some tutorials, drawing stuff I love, periods I hate my art, then taking stuff I need to learn from observing.

Been drawing as long as I've had a pencil. Though a lot of art is not just taking from life, but sometimes even imitating other art methods.
