NEW: Tomorrow the Supreme Court will rehear a case that could let the GOP grab 19 new, safe U.S. House seats by gutting Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

Then call Congress and tell them to pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act – and hold this Court accountable.
Fair representation – the promise of government by the people – survives only when we refuse to surrender it.
Without Section 2 of the VRA, we'd be left with elections that appear free, but are rigged to keep power in the same hands.
Protecting fair elections is the only way to halt that slide away from freedom.
The path forward is narrow, but it exists – and demands urgency.
The impact would hit the South hardest.
If Section 2 falls, states like Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina & more could erase Black opportunity districts – hard-won fair districts across the region.
It's the endgame of a far-right plan to lock in control.
