Nursing And Midwifery professionals’ Experiences of Domestic abuse (NAMED) | RCN Foundation The RCN Foundation is funding the study to explore the domestic abuse experiences and support needs of nurses, midwives, and healthcare support workers across the UK.

The 1st part of the NAMED study is a survey for UK nurses and healthcare support workers who have experienced domestic abuse. The survey closes on 31st August 2025.

Queen’s lecturer earns PhD after leading NI’s first domestic abuse training for nursing students Dr Steph Craig is graduating today with a PhD, having progressed from undergraduate to lecturer while co-leading a groundbreaking initiative to embed domestic abuse training in the nursing curriculum.

Not only is Dr Stephanie Craig graduating today with a #PhD in #Nursing, but thanks to her, nursing students at Queen’s will now receive dedicated training on #DomesticAbuse and #ViolenceAgainstWomenAndGirls as part of their degree.
