I usually don't mind being hard of hearing but sometimes it's so annoying. Why is my hearing aid not functioning properly rn?!! Why does everything sound quieter and muddled. It's frustrating having something as important as hearing be dependent on technology that can be faulty :/

WOAH THAT'S AMAZING!! Congrats on presenting your first paper!! That conference sounds cool & I wish I could've gone, as there aren't many conferences about British history in the US (or maybe I just don't know about them). Were there any presentations there that you found especially interesting?

And speaking of drawing here's one I finished a few days ago :] it was a gift for a friend and making it helped make drawing things again seem less intimidating to me

I just posted one of my drawings for the first time in ages (haven't regularly done so since early 2020) and man I kind of miss posting my art/having an active art account. It was fun!! I think I'll try to do it more this year, as I'm feeling motivated to draw for the first time in a while

And yeah I've heard of that law. I don't know too much about it, but it seems kind of odd to require age verification for bluesky dms but not discord dms?? It must be really frustrating to have seemingly random things restricted like that

I 100% agree that it was very visually interesting!! and the costumes were neat as well. I definitley need to re-watch it at some point soon, maybe I’ll like it better the second time? I mostly didn’t like how Victor’s character was changed & how the Creature didn’t kill anyone out of revenge really

What did you think of the movie? I'm not sure if I liked it personally (especially not as an adaptation of Frankenstein). Still trying to figure out why I didn't like it; maybe once I do I could contribute something to this!
