The poem is written by Hans to Bartossch during their stay at Maleshov. (They both thought Henry didn't make it out of Trosky after they split them) Lūx Amissa / Lost Light Tē dēsīderāvī etiam cum tē contemnerem, / Longed for you when I despised you Somniāvī tē, modīs vetitīs. / Dreamed of you, in forbidden ways Lūcem mē vocās / You say I’m light Sed tua lēnitās, / But it was your tenderness, Tuum calōr, / Your warmth Mē ē tenebrīs dūxit, / That led me from the dark Voluntātem mihi dedit ut lūx fīerem. / Gave me the will to become light visually: Bartosch laying on a poem book he and Hans made together, it's opened to the poem above.
