I am about to hand in my Master's thesis in Machine learning. While working on it, the Trump castastrophe has been developing in full motion, and I feel that I don't have any vocabulary to really understand it. Any recommendations for political science theory that I could read post graduatum?

Yeah, I am now on the train back from London, and I have to say that the check-in process in London was complete chaos. I had to walk a good 500m in the queue. The waiting room was also way too crowded and did not have enough seats.

Travelling with Eurostar from Brussels to London at 300 km/h is an absolutely amazing experience. But what's the point of all that speed when you anyway have to check in an hour before departure?

Overnight stop in Brussels before heading to a summer school on Probabilistic Machine Learning in the UK. The royal palace here makes my tiny hotel room look even more humble.

While the tariffs are promoted as countermeasures to foreign tariffs, the size of the tariffs are not related to these tariffs, but by the formula (imports - exports)/imports per country. A rather random number...

Sorry, that was not very clear. The US government is imposing some rather draconian tariffs on imports from all over the world.
