There are so many butterflies out at the moment! The red admirals were loving the plums that had split on the tree (we had quite a bit of rain after a dry spell) and this small tortoiseshell took a fancy the wet clay lid.

A hedgehog walking past with turf stacked behind him
This little fellow passed me in the shed on his way out to the garden. We mow a path to walk down through the fields, leaving all the grass long, and in the evening loads of black slugs come out onto the short grass, a smorgasbord for our hedgehog population #wildlife #biodiversity #hedgehog #native

Iโve been exploring with Lino printing underglaze straight onto bisque ware and these are the first out of the kiln. So happy with the level of detail!
