Rough weekend for Minnesota sports. Vikings get their asses kicked on Thursday night, Wolves get blown out last night, and so far, it looks like it's going to be a long day for the Gophers today in Iowa City...

Yeah, tough to say for sure until more details come out. But I'm bummed about Billups, I always liked him as a player and thought he had finally turned things around with the Blazers here.

Looks like the Blazers got a squad this year. They did a great job of mucking things up and making everything hard for the Wolves. It will be interesting to see if they can maintain that defensive pressure over 82 games...

With the way the Blazers are playing with intensity on defense and pace on offense, it feels like the Blazers have 7 guys on the court. Don't think the Wolves were expecting this on opening night.

I suspect that both the Blazers and Wolves will be in mid-season form in terms of ineptitude. Can't wait to watch!

Anyone else annoyed with the Knicks color commentator on this broadcast tonight? He keeps calling them "T-Wolves", and I swear to god if he refers to Jaden as "Mac-Daniels" one more time...

When the playoffs started, my only wish was that neither the Yankees or Dodgers won, and the Yanks just got eliminated tonight. Now I want to actually go all in on one team, and I'd that to be the Mariners.

That reminds me, is there any room left on the M's bandwagon this postseason? If so, I'd love to hop aboard.
