This is so real I remember being able to read 50-100 pages of academic text daily but I really lost it over COVID and it’s hard work trying to earn it back

-attend zero academic conferences
-write zero academic papers
-give up on the dissertation and leave the program

-submit no more than 1 nonfiction piece to major outlets
-start 0 novel manuscripts
