#TheArchers "Italy" is not really Italia, it is rather an idea of something even more relaxed, less English, less comprehensible, but also scarier than France. Without the 1066-2066 fear that they will come again ;-) No #TheArchers knows the dreary fog and the bloomin' cold winter in Milan, luckily!

One of the best books I've ever read is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.

What "lives on" is the Aldridge genetic information, i.e. DNA, but not Brian's cells. Certainly not the whole Brian, and I would say, quite luckily so for Ambridge #TheArchers ;-)

Do not know the book, but the impact of these few cells on medical, biological and even chemical research is more than huge. Apart from zillions of research papers, I am sure that also quite a few therapies, products etc are "built" on HeLa. Nice that #TheArchers lead us to great research!
