Partisan school board bill narrowly avoids tie vote, goes to governor • Indiana Capital Chronicle Indiana is set to join the small contingent of states running partisan school board elections, pending a decision from Gov. Mike Braun.

The bill to make school board races partisan passed by a single vote in the Senate this afternoon. This will bring politics into public schools. Next, it moves to Gov. Braun's desk.
