If government power ever gets wrested from Trump, I wonder if successive administrations will leave untouched everything he erects - the ballroom, the Trump-Kennedy Center, the presidential plaque screeds - to serve as a collection of national "never again" monuments so Americans never forget?

In Canada, we're rightfully trying to illiegalize stop and frisk as a violation of rights. Meanwhile in the U.S...

Hey USA, Canadian here. Um... that kind of rhetoric is not disqualifying for a TV channel? Maybe... consider it? Ya'll talk about your "polarization" problems and you let a TV host suggest killing citizens?

As a Canadian looking on, I'd say the greatest trick the Trump administration pulled on Americans was to convince them that "woke" speech impinged on their freedoms, but soldiers with guns in their cities liberated them.

I've been watching the live coverage on YouTube tonight, moving back and forth between CBC, Al-Jazeera, ABC, NBC, PBS. Only non-American networks mention the illegality of the strikes on Iran. Why are American networks choosing to ignore this completely?

In a global economy made up of primarily two sectors—financial/services and manufacturing—the United States dominated the former entirely. Along comes Trump, reaches for the latter, and the U.S. loses prospects of both. Hubris on a scale of Aesop’s cautionary tale.

I love that on the morning of a Liberal victory, those of us who voted that way are not tapdancing to a tune of now “owning the Cons” in the months to come. The way to convince and be convincing for CPC voters is to solve their problems and get them the services they need as much as everyone else.

Many of the very worst people I've ever known - some of my closest family among them - were the people who "spent the most time in prayer" when I was growing up in a church setting. I'm convinced that much of what is called "prayer" is self-affirming confirmation bias.
