Today I voted for protecting nature.

The Lords added sensible, evidence-based amendments to the Planning & Infrastructure Bill to strengthen nature protection. But the govt rejected them.

Ministers need to listen - to experts, to trusted organisations, and to the public.

Lots of patches of that and renegade reeds on the edges of the surrounding ditches (it's on the border of fenland). My field neighbour who mows the grass during the growing season leaves the edges.

Lovely. Always wondered. Chiffchaffs return to our field yearly - lots of bramble scrub etc at the edges.

Leading questions, creation of nonsense pieces based on no data, and then heavy promotion of these headlines is propaganda. It is the BBC News editorial team setting the narrative they choose and then promoting it. This is beyond dangerous and far beyond the BBC’s remit. It is political bias.

Keep track, call them out. Until we sort out the press’ political bias and agenda, they will continue to promote far right views instead of real issues.

BBC News asks Rachel Reeves if Reform are setting the agenda of the Labour conference. If BBC keep promoting Reform by asking questions about them instead of policies it is ‘BBC News’ setting the agenda. And that is called political bias.
