Yeah, poor baby will have to deal with this for a little longer. She's also on a bunch of meds I have to give her daily. It's a mircale she still wants to cuddle at this point 😅

Cone of shame replacement works like a charm! She certainly adjusted to it quite fast. The only potential issue is it touching everything in the litterbox, so i'm scooping as much as I can to prevent that 😅 Now she's just gotta hang in there until the wound check next Friday. Then it'll all be over.

I have ordered one of these. It had really good reviews and my vet said that it wouldn't be a bad idea to give it a go. Unfortunately it doesn't arrive until tomorrow, so she'll have to deal with the cone one more night. For now she's free of the cone and getting much needed rest!

I'm going to try a donut collar instead of the cone, it arrives tomorrow. That should at least help her be able to do things independently

So far so good, so she's been free for about 3hrs now. I'm sure that'll make up for the cone during the night 😅

My trip featured quite a few activities outside of the con as well! Dinners, an escape room, and even a ghost tour 👻 My backpack gained a whole bunch of pins this weekend (some I begrudgingly put on) I tried a deep fried mars bar (which was okay) and I even became a meme myself this weekend 😂

What an incredible weekend this was! Over 35 Gaycorns made their way here for the largest community meet to date 🤩 My heart was filled with such joy seeing so many friends, meeting many new folks, seeing Jen and Aliona again, and finally meeting Mia Foo! A trip to remember 😊💕
