If there's one song that I'm surprised that @wxpnfm.bsky.social has never played, it's probably "Diamonds" by @johnnyswim.bsky.social. They have a few plays in the teens, but this song is special!

Oh, no, I'm not saying stop. I LOVE Brigitte Calls Me Baby, boygenius and others, but if they played them a bit less, they could fit in "classics." I love new stuff. By example, Mary Chapin Carpenter used to be a staple, yet Sleepy Hollow is the only place I've heard her new record. Pic=my fridge.

We saw them probably 4-5 times at the Tin Angel. I have a friend from Australia I met online and she came to visit once and it happened to coincide with one of the shows. They have international acclaim and deserve to be played, still.

OMG! This is such an underrated album! Thanks for playing something from it. Don't like Travis Tritt's politics, but he's phenomenal with Patti Labelle.

Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.

This Ludovico Einaudi interview was so good! For what it's worth, guitarist Jason Vieaux is with Curtis and presumably in Philly. He'd be interesting, too, I think. And he does a pretty cool Tears for Fears.

Yeah. We're so spoiled. We can look up lyrics, check song titles, other versions of songs. ... I'm a true blue WXPN member, but if I ever won the lottery, I'd buy WRTI a song ID gizmo for car radios.

I was noting we are so spoiled in this day and age, when you use computers for the music, and we can look on the website and find the song and artist immediately. You're old-school with vinyl, and we don't have instant gratification. I didn't know the Springsteen live tunes right away. Great show!
