I'm not gonna say 1000 is TOO many princes, but it's a lot of princes. I dunno. Even if I was super into all of them, how could I possibly spend time with that many people? I kinda think, like, 30-50 is the max number of princes I could really handle.

Marathon recording session. Two different singers. Two songs (this is the first time we're working on two songs at the same time. STRESSFUL). Looked at the project after wrapping and decided I'm not gonna comp vocals today.

I ended up loading it in Komplete Kontrol instead of my DAW and then I was able to activate it. I dunno why Studio One was having issues. Just been listening to presets and looking at all the controls with growing terror.

It won't authorize for me. :( I still haven't gotten to try it. Unless it playing a sine wave counts as trying it.

Trying to get Serum 2 working feels like Day 1 on some new online game. A ton of people all trying to cram in at once and everything's just going to crap because of it.

I live in constant terror that some day I'm gonna have temporary insanity and decide to release a song under some dumb side project name like "Dipping Sauce" or "Toe Fungus" and THAT'S the song that is somehow gonna become a hit.

I feel like if you're using the words "delightfully" and "crunchy" together to describe your cookies, you don't know how cookies are supposed to be.

Trying to record vocals and my dog is asleep in the room where the mic is set up. And she's snoring. Singer is laughing her ass off, so I guess it's OK?

And also, our budget for cover art is whatever I can dig outta the couch cushions, so maybe not quite the same thing as a major record label putting out vinyl albums. Just seeing it left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Got a promo email from Cleopatra Records recommending a bunch of their compilation albums, and it looks like they're all using crappy AI art?

I mean, I get it. We've released songs using AI art. I *like* AI as an artist's tool. But these covers look really REALLY bad!!!

I feel like such a fraud every time I add hashtags to a post. I dunno if anyone else feels that way or if it's just my own stupidity, but yeah. Like somehow putting things on the post that might help people find it is me being conceited or whatever. Get over it, me!
