So if you've communicated clearly, provided a roadmap etc, and the person still doesn't take it, you can keep it moving with peace of mind. You took care of your end of things, and the other person (for whatever reason) did not. It's not a reflection of you, esp. if you did your part.

You can tell people what they need to do, but you can't compel them to do it, same way you can lead a donkey to the water etc etc. And I know this may sound like that "let them" BS, but it's not about gaining control of a situation , it's about peace of mind. Taking care of what's in your control.

I like taking things/people at face value...WYSIWYG vibes, if a person is treating you with disregard, don't make excuses for them, it's because that's what they want to do. If they're letting things fall into disrepair, it's because that's what they want. Makes things easier IMO.

I have to knock out three proposals by Monday while recovering from pneumonia and resting adequately. This is gonna be tough but I'm up for the challenge. Will respond to myself here once I get to the other side! 💪

It has me feeling grateful that it’s bacterial and not viral because at least I can take an antibiotic…imagine if it was a virus (I don’t have to imagine, I had COVID once, and it put the fear of God in me) 😭😭😭

Also, in this life, do not get pneumonia 😭😭😭 I haven’t seen dust like this since I had COVID in 2022 😭😭😭

I can honestly say I learned all the lessons I needed from the last misadventure…I’m honestly surprised. These are the times my mother spoke about when I was a child. It’s even more applicable to life than it is to exams. Grateful.

In a (very big) sense, I’m proud of myself for stating my thoughts out loud, fear of the consequences be damned…I’m proud of myself/us for giving it a fair shot, and as my mother says, you should only regret it when you half ass it…I did not half ass it. Onwards.
