I also never liked that they just killed almost every hero at the end…kinda bummed me out. I’d have loved to seen them do spotlight stories to tell us background on the X-men to flesh out the little we saw.

Yes!! The idea of evil Charles is really great. They did it right here and also in the original Exiles comic (another favorite that started strong and then had hits and misses after the main story wrapped).

Also totally agree with Mutant X after the 12 issue arc…it never seemed to be AS solid.

Mutant X was excellent! One of my favorite series, right up there with X-Statix. I don’t oft see people speak well of Mutant X - so my geeky self got a rush to see you say that.

Yah it had lots of problems, like cast not interested or available, and modifying or removing characters. Still, I like the end result - how they portray reality tv before it became a thing. Some catchy tunes too.

Always felt the GLA had lots of potential but seemed doomed to just play for laughs (which is fine) but I liked how the characters got developed despite the roster changes/losses. (Grasshopper lol)
