Yeaaaah it is, but in that sense it's not very different from other team games like League of Legends, or Overwatch, or whatever others are out there.

WHEN you do get a good team, it's so so fun though. Even wiping to the last boss at 5 % feels worth it, cause the journey there was amazing!

It can be frustrating playing with randoms, though. Nothing worse than someone just running off by themselves without notifying (pinging), dying because they went solo and then immediately abandoning the run leaving you with 2 players in a game tuned for 3 players. 🤡

It's really fun, but also quite frustrating. The characters are diverse enough to fill any preferred play style, but I wish there were more bosses and also less of an RNG to what weapons or build you have. It does force you to play outside of your comfort zone, but it can get tedious sometimes.
