I took a dive into sallow moth yesterday, finally, long overdue, and the songwriting is just something to behold. truly inspirational stuff. I aspire to have a thimble's worth of that level of creativity. can't wait to listen to the new drops.

I've experienced sleep paralysis most nights for my entire life, but I have never perceived a "demon" or any sort of "entity" when it happens, as some people apparently do.

It really does suck though, and I fear there will be a time when my brain just decides never to snap out of it...

damn I wish I could have seen this! but I WILL be seeing Kayo Dot in february!!!!

i wrote a riff that i like last night, which means the last track of my next EEE PEE is underway.

i am at work now, just dreamin about what riffs to do next. how can they expect me to work when i got riffs on the brain ??

just like sick leave, there should be riff leave

I am really not a great or highly technical guitarist, by any measure. but I like to think I make up for my technical shortcomings with good riff accuracy, and just playing what I *can* play confidently and with good presence and energy.

I'm not here to show off, I'm here to party and riff hard ...

Kinda forgot that I made a website this year, put a manic sense of work into it for like 4 months, and then completely abandoned it in the 2nd half of the year.

anyways, I just updated it with a new blog post, apologizing to thin air and the website itself for said abandonment. new posts imminent!

this has been stuck in my head all week

and when that day comes, and someone went "damn"

then I will do it again.

one day I'm gonna write a riff that makes someone go ... "damn."

that is my goal.
