Tech companies saying they'll freeze hiring because of AI productivity gains makes no sense. Hiring is driven by market competition and AI changes absolutely nothing about this. Guess what, all of your competitors now have access to AI tools just like you.

Also canceling your membership means giving up, people don't like to do this. Here in Brazil a common joke is "I'm investing in a gym"

I'm writing a book called Domain-Driven Django! keep up with it here:

My work with CMD Limes & writing are inexplicably linked. I'm sharing my consulting philosophy, educating on language agnostic design patterns and also applying it to Django projects.

I think the limit I always hit is the active record pattern and how Django merges itself with database access. sometimes, it is hard to write proper unit tests for some areas of the code; I always need to write boilerplate, which is a smell, in my opinion. Looking forward to reading your opinions

I'm interested in this book. I have been trying to apply things like this in django for years and always feel I'm fighting against the framework. also the code I produce does the work, and is performatic, but I'd like to provide a better experience for those (sometimes me) who are maintaining.
