It would certainly be interesting to a certain kind of nerd as wellโI've always told myself that if I ever made a conlang, I would make sure to slip in some weird irregulars because I love chaos :^)

Based on my observation of toki pona usage, most people don't use "e" after "kepeken". Of course it's never zero, but those that do tack an "e" afterwards are usually new learners.
Yep! "kepeken e" is usually treated as a beginner's mistake since it only exists as a preposition, but I sometimes like to play around with my "mistakes" and see what weird stuff I come up with in my own defense :^)

"I am not using the"
I feel like putting "e" would solve some of my gripes with it. Also I think it'd be interesting if we had "kepeken e [ijo]" for "use [something]" in general but just "kepeken [ijo]" for "via [thing]" specifically
Using "kepeken" is hard because whenever I put an "ala" after it I also end up putting "e" by force of habit. I am a fake fluent toki pona speaker /j

A toki pona word proposal:
masa en mini
Derived from English "max" and "min", these (or a more interestont pair not derived from English perhaps) could facilitate superlatives and easier comparisons.
ni li suli masa tawa ni => this is bigger than that
ni li masa suli => this is the biggest
