3. i am simply not personally into estinien having lots of dragon features

--having them traveling together drifting in and out of close quarters while constantly in a snowy nation that inclines super easily toward canadian shack type fic setups is just fun. it's also one of the only times i've had passing interest in a npcship and actually turned up a bunch of good fic!

--and i find the parts of the game focusing on them enjoyable and their rapport really good. i think the fact that estinien has basically zero personal baggage with gaius makes it an interesting situation for both of them and i just love some good "gruff guys being homoerotic". and the situation--

YES i love this one!!!

1. i am a simple man they executed their effortless sick ass combo attack in that one solo duty and i was like "they have explored each other's bodies"

2. it is simply fun and sexy to me. i think they're both interesting characters with interesting contrasting issues--

it 100% reads intentionally as a budding romance to me and i think it's an excellent one. i hope we come back to them in the future and get to see them inching closer together. peace and love

3. ??? does a ship this rare even have unpopular opinion... i don't think they're "sibling-coded" or w/e???

they just!! they're both really strong characters and they have so much chemistry and so much complicated history and so many parallels and they just deserve to be teens figuring out liking each other for the first time and i love that for them

--and it does so much for both of them as characters who already represent some of the most interesting stuff the game has to offer. and god fordola's place in arenvald's disability storyline leading into edw is perfect. it avoids so many pitfalls these kinds of things do and she's a big part of why

2. fordola is all around a character i think is maybe the most consistently well-written in the game and it extends to this relationship!!!! it's so textured and complex and human and so sweet, even sweeter for the fact that it does start with so much pain toward one another--

1. literally everything with them from 4.1 on but Especially the rapport they have in arenvald's disability arc and the role fordola plays in it really elevated it to one of my favorites in the whole game!!

1. nero's praetorium rant had me like "i see" and then crystal tower had me like "I SEE" and i made a joke about old man yaoi and then realized they're both 34 and was disappointed. but the yaoi persists.
