youtube comments are so fascinating as a public forum because people start stubbornly committing to absurd logical extremes so easily. like not even 10 replies into this comment thread this person is saying garments made with a sewing machine are not handmade. do they think the yarn was spun by hand

the comments on this video are so weird. ive always kind of read "handmade" as a selling point as like "this thing was individually made with care by someone and not mass-produced as a commodity" not just "this was literally made by hand"

for freelancing it's generally hourly, there's some people who might charge a rate based on final product length or a fixed rate but unless you're doing very basic editing that's generally a bad idea

i think i got like shitty yarn for knitting because its kind of like 4 strands that are just kind of loosely interwoven instead of a solid piece and i keep running my needle in between the strands on accident. i even asked the boy at the store whether it was good. Never buying local again
