Shadows from light through a venetian blind wrap around a nude pregnant woman's figure. Only her torso and legs are in the photo, making it anonymous. She appears to be reclining, but is actually sitting on a bench that is covered with a blanket, being photographed from above. Her breasts are at the bottom of the picture, bulging belly in the middle, and legs at the top. The shadow lines follow her curves. Shadows on the floor create an illusion as if the blind is under her feet.

An anonymous photo of a pregnant model from many years ago. I was experimenting with shadows on the figure from a venetian blind. I think this worked well.

Actually, I've worked with several pregnant models, and will post more.

Thank you, Patrick. I like curves too. Aly is a great model whom I met through life drawing and I was lucky enough to book her for a photoshoot when she was eight months pregnant. 🙂

But you do have a point. Getting shot does affect one’s attitude.

Actually, they are all facing to the side. Lincoln happens to be facing to the opposite side from the others and on a different colour coin.
