(and like others have pointed out, guys like Danny Brown have made MUCH more abrasive sounding music, to plenty of underground acclaim; so calling a song the worst ever because, I said “oh my god” as the hook, like, really, that’s it?)

I mean shit, the people on RYM mostly just do hyperbolic over-the-top AVGN type shit that feels more like a creative writing exercise than a genuine review, but at least they’re TRYING. But just playin the song and expectin it to be self-evident, JUST cause it sounds unconventional, that’s BO-RING!

Like, ACTUALLY rip on the song, guys! Come out from behind the editing software you just typed those words on and give REASONS for why you don’t like it, dammit!

It’s really shown me just how LAZY this content is. And, hey, I get it: randos that are mad that I ripped on their favorite rapper wanna tear me down a peg too, right? But, as a content creator myself, I know how low-effort it is to JUST type “WORST SONG EVER” over a video clip you downloaded.

Ok, after seeing my songs put on all these internet slop-farm pages that just type “WORST SONG EVER” on them, I wish these people could actually describe WHY they don’t like it, ya know?
